POIs: Save Yourself Time and the Headache of Manually Entering Addresses

Did you know that when using FleetMatics, there’s no need to manually enter addresses every time, or even remember them for that matter?

Points of Interest (POIs) are stored within our GPS tracking software and can include any and all important locations you’d like to have available when you login to our fleet tracking system. It’s like the address book on your phone (be honest, do you remember ANYONE’S actual phone number anymore?)

POIs can include customers, employees’ homes, your office(s), and places that are off-limits during work hours. Any time you want to see which of you customers are currently being serviced, you can login to Live Fleet, turn on your POIs and see which drivers are at which locations without having to look up the address.

By setting up POIs, you’ll automatically know when an employee enters or leaves that designated area, as well as be able to use historical reports to refer back to any of those locations should there be any questions or discrepancies.

POIs help you:

• Label addresses so you don’t have to memorise them or manually enter them each time
• Simplify the ability to show proof of service
• Easily look up vehicle information
• Be alerted when someone enters or leaves a certain location
