Decreased Petrol Costs Deverson Direct began in 1996, supplying qualified scaffolders to large scaffolding contractors on a labour-only basis. Three years later, they broadened their services to encompass all the scaffolding needs of the Main Contractor on projects all over the UK and mainland Europe. Loyal clients include Amec Construction, InterRoute, McCarthy & Stone Ltd, and Norwest Holst.

Deverson Direct was looking to control the way their vehicles were being used by increasing driver awareness. They wanted to monitor not only vehicle locations but also idling times, payable hours, and productivity efficiencies. Protecting against vehicle theft was also important.

Since fitting FleetMatics to their fleet of vehicles, they have seen tremendous cost savings through time savings. Petrol costs have decreased as idling times are now under control. Productivity has improved as each vehicle is now completing 1 additional job per day.
