Reduced Fuel Costs Direct Waste Management Ltd was established in 1984 and have since been serving North East Scotland with a wide array of services. They have two fully licensed sites in Peterhead which are covered with PPC permits which allows them to store and treat waste. Their range of services cover waste oil collections, storage facilities, haulage services, tank cleaning, and intermediate bulk containers and drums.

Direct Waste Management was looking for a system that would improve operational efficiencies. Reducing the unauthorised use of company vehicles was also a concern of theirs. Improving customer service was also essential.

FleetMatics has enabled Direct Waste Management to reduce fuel costs through eliminating unnecessary mileage and reduced idling times. Employee accountability has also increased through reducing unauthorised use of company vehicles. Customer Service has improved greatly as they are now able to provide more timely service.
